Hi Adrena, your purpose is not life. Your purpose is not your relationship with God. You and I are His project, He is not our project or purpose. A ‘successful’ ministry won’t satisfy you. The fruits of good ministry, however fully alive they may make us feel, will never be enough for us, or a reason to continue following Him.
Hey Andy, I’m not truly sure of what you’re saying, but I do appreciate you for engaging. Jesus says in John 14:6 “ I am the way, the truth, and the life.” So I don’t think my purpose is my Life, Jesus is, but walking in my purpose has given my life more meaning. I’m not sure how you interpreted this as me saying my relationship with God as my purpose, but drawing closer to Him absolutely gave my life structure and meaning. The ministry being successful isn’t what satisfies me it’s the souls being won through the ministry. Matthew 28:19 the great commission to go and make disciples of the nations is EVERYONES purpose. The ministry I am building is a response to that call, so you better believe the work we do is satisfying. If one soul returns to God how can one not rejoice in that? Maybe you and I just have separate experiences, but I would prefer you taking the time to explore my work and getting to know me before you make these types of assumptions about me and my faith. I would challenge you to ask yourself was your response led by the spirit of the flesh? I love you brother. May God bless you exceedingly and abundantly
I think it’s about surrendering the journey. I was there and I was constantly striving and trying all these things that were dead ends. I just said no more guessing no more striving. God has a plan for me and I am just going to let go of my vision and get in agreement with Him. For me it started with getting in the word daily. God speaks through the word. The first months I was constantly getting direction through His word. Then I got in a good Bible based teaching church. I started serving and growing spiritually. Serving in the Lord’s house gave me purpose. I stopped chasing worldly things and started to set my sights on the kingdom Matthew 6:33. I surrounded myself with people who are on a similar journey. I got better a discerning, I got better at hearing God, I’m more sensitive to how He is moving in my life and when he commands on don’t harp on the details. If I’m called to do something He will make sure I have everything I need. I’m also ok with not knowing all the details. I still don’t know exactly what His end game is and that’s ok. We don’t need all the details we just need to be readily available. I pray you walk in your purpose. I pray that you answer when He knocks. The fact you’re here asking these questions means you’re on the right track. I’m always here if you need me Leslie. God is moving, just give Him your yes even when you feel unprepared and unqualified. Trust in Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. You’ve got this
Wow…thank you. Thank for taking time to intentionally respond and offer guidance. I’ll start with Matthew… 💕I hope you’re able to bring Bible study fitness to Atlanta + nationally if that’s what God calls y’all to do 🙏🏾

How do you swap your vision for His?? How do you surrender what you don’t even have a clue of “purpose wise”..?
